The EU-funded GoNano (Governing Nanotechnologies through societal engagement) project aims to improve the responsiveness of research and innovation to public values and concerns. Over the course of the project (2017-2020) citizens, researchers, industry, civil society organisations and policy makers across Europe worked together to align future nanotechnologies with societal needs and concerns.
SUMMARY ✎
GoNano developed a public engagement database for stakeholders who would like to become involved in the debate on nanotechnologies. The database lists organisations and projects that are currently looking for feedback from citizens and civil society organisations. The list is not meant to be exhaustive, but it is a good base and gives an indication of what is out there and how to get involved.
The database lists three types of initiatives;
- 1: EU-projects,
- 2: Networks or platforms,
- 3: Local projects and organisations.
