Participation Compass is a useful and practical tool for people who are directly involved in planning, running or commissioning participation activities. It contains a library of tools for participation events and explains why participation is relevant for different communities. By providing users with information, advice, case studies and opportunities to share experiences with others, Participation Compass helps public, private and not-for-profit sectors involve a wider group of people in their work and helps make their public participation activities as effective as possible.

Participation Compass contains:

  • organisations that provide participation expertise 
  • news about participation.

Users can conduct searches based on a number of criteria, including the purpose of their process and the amount of money they have available. Registered users can contribute to the knowledge database by uploading their own resources.
