The tool is a self-assessment matrix with nine dimensions, which are divided into three main critical areas for consideration: purpose, processes and people. For each dimension, users use a four-level scale to evaluate their performance as embryonic, developing, gripping or embedded (EDGE). Users can also create a spider diagram to present their assessment results.
