A comprehensive overview and analysis of contemporary RRI literature, this literature review of over 200 RRI-related articles discusses the definitions and conceptual dimensions of Responsible Research and Innovation. Among the literature reviewed, this study identifies four distinct conceptual dimensions of RRI: inclusion, anticipation, responsiveness and reflexivity; as well as two emerging conceptual dimensions: sustainability and care.
